All coaches should understand and agree to abide by the attached coach responsibilities. Included are the updated code of conduct requirements from National Pop Warner.
All coaches are required by Pop Warner Nationals to read the RISK MANAGEMENT MANUAL and sign the acknowledgement. Return the form to your football or cheer director.
All coaches must complete their volunteer application and background check before they are allowed to work with the kids. If you have not submitted your paperwork, please do so immediately.
Forms may be submitted to Rob Patterson (football), Mindy Allison-Long(cheer), or Cliff Peske (all volunteers).
Pop Warner programs nationwide will be required to annually conduct a background check of: Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players and/or spirit participants.
The purpose of these background checks is, first and foremost, to protect the children. More information can be found on the link to the national Pop Warner web site. Background checks must be completed prior to serving in a volunteer capacity with the organization.

Anyone interested in coaching should download the Coach Application form. All selected coaches will also need to submit a Volunteer Application for their background check.
